Safari in National Park
Safari in Ranthambore National Park is the best way to observe wildlife within Ranthambore National Park. Jeeps with groups of tourists, and a trained guides are allowed into the park at fixed times during the morning and Afternoon jungle safari. The jeeps have to follow a fixed route and leave the park by the end of the allotted time. At a given time not more 4 jeeps can travel on a particular zone or route and more then 40 vehicles are not allowed into the park. Apart from jeep safari , canters, which can carry up to 25 people, are also used to carry large groups of people into the park.
Ranthambhore park will be opened from 01st October till 30th June and in the monsoon period closed for 03 months from 01st July till 30th September in the every year.
The main food source for the tiger is the swamp deer like Barasinsga and on occasion the wild buffalo and also wild boar etc. If you wish to stay near the park, the facilities on offer are superb. The park gates open a half hour before sunrise and close half hour after sunset. The timings are vigorously imposed and no exceptions are made to this rule
Guest will visit Jungle safari in Ranthambhore by Jeep (Gypsy or 20 seater Canter safari and re-fitted and furnished for comfortable and good viewing.
